WHAT TIME DO WE MEET?
The Hand and Paw Club meets every other Tuesday from 3:20pm to 3:50pm.
WHAT DO WE DO IN THIS CLUB?
In the Hand and Paw Club, we organize activities to profit local animal shelters that our school community can participate in. This includes donation drives, competitions, bake sales, and more. We also provide resources to volunteer opportunities that our members can use.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES?
Due to COVID-19, most of the volunteer opportunities centered around animal shelters are not operating. Some of these volunteer opportunities are listed below.
The Humane Society of the United States - Phone Banking
Must be 16 years old or over
Garden Rescues - Walk and play with dogs
Must be 7 years old or older
Program canceled due to COVID-19
Adopt-A-Dog - Read to dogs
Must be 10 years old or over
Program canceled due to COVID-19
Adopt-A-Dog - Dog socialization program
Must be 16 years old or over
Program canceled due to COVID-19
WHO ARE THE LEADERS OF THE HAND AND PAW CLUB?
Katy Wouters (9th grader) and Blair Mulligan (9th grader) are the co-leaders. Lori Mulligan is our advisor.
WHERE DO WE MEET?
The room we meet in changes, so be sure to sign up to our email list above! If we're remote, come join us on Google Meets! To join, click on this Google Meets link and mute yourself before entry. Click “join” are you’re in! Follow the school guidelines for virtual behavior.
WHAT IF I CAN’T JOIN EVERY MEETING?
Our members do not have to join for all of our meetings but we encourage our members to participate when they have the time. If you want to leave the club, let us know so we can take you off our email list.
